Sum 41's new album has arrived!

Even though he was married to Avril Lavigne, and we have been waiting for ages for the new album, considerable slack can be given to Mr. Whibley and Sum 41 as they have produced possibly one of their finest album's to date.

The canadian pop punks fifth album titled 'Screaming Bloody Murder' was released on the 25th of March and is already receiving favourable reviews from users and the media alike.

For you who aren't convinced, below is the title track song, which showcases what they do best. Heavy pop punk bitch-slapping you until your unconscious.

Blitz Kids release new video from upcoming album.

Ey up!

The pop tinged hardcore mob known as Blitz Kids have released a new video for their brilliant song "Hold Fast" from their upcoming album 'Vagabonds and Vagrants'.

And my goodness! It is a tune!

Have a listen and see what you make of it. It definitely excites me!

Tiger's Rule!

I happened to stumble across this story and while it is fairly sad, I used to have an obsession with Tigers as a young child and so a small part of me can't help but go WIN!

On September 4th 2010 in a Turkish zoo, a Bengal Tiger managed to escape into a lion's enclosure, attack a Lion (as you do being a large cat) and ended up seriously injuring it.

The injury was so severe that sadly the lion could not be saved! For the full story click here for more info.

SO...while i'm thinking Tiger's are Bad-Ass, the book 'The Tiger that came to tea' is extremely misleading. Don't go inviting Tiger's to tea kids!

Just stay in school!

This band IS the shit!

Ladies & Gentlemen I proudly introduce...

Letlive.

While these esteemed men hail from L.A California, they are not considered a new band as they have been around since 1999 out of the ashes of a previous band.

Below is their enticingly mental tune 'The Sick, Sick, 6.8 Billion' and in it, frontman Jason Butler gives a Daryl Palumbo-esque performance.

With the brilliant 3rd album 'Fake History' being released last year in April, the lads are currently touring the UK with their frenetic melodic hardcore.

Click here for further info www.myspace.com/letlive if you think you could bear their apparently brutal live shows. However to be frank, after listening to their album, this is hardly surprising.

Show these boys the much needed support they deserve!

Colin's serious lad points

So the Oscars (83rd Academy Awards), hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway, got down and dirty last night as the creme de la creme of the entertainment world showed up to honour the past year's films.

Unsurprisingly 'The King's Speech' did very well nabbing Best Actor, Best Picture, Best Director and Original Screenplay.

Being nudged out last year by Jeff Bridges, Colin Firth's captivating portrayal of George VI' s battle against his stammer has well and truly been very deserved. Tom Hooper was also honoured for his vision in bringing this fantastic tale to life and duly accepted, but not before thanking his mother who apparently was the main reason for the film's inception.

Other winners included:

Christian Bale - Best Supporting Actor - The Fighter
Natalie Portman - Best Actress - Black Swan
Melissa Leo - Best Supporting Actress - The Fighter
Aaron Sorkin - Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay - The Social Network

Sadly the Coen's Bros' mighty 'True Grit' didn't get any gongs...

There is always next year.
